The Don’ts Of Safari Trips
When going on a trip to the wild with so much to see and enjoy, there are a lot of details that you need to take in to account. This makes sure that you are able to make the most of the trip while also protecting yourself. So here are some things you need to avoid doing when you’re on such an adventure.
Don’t feed the animals
This is the primary most important thing that you need to keep in your mind, NEVER feed the animals. Remember you are not at an exhibit zoo but in the wild with wild animals that aren’t the so called wild yet tamed animals, at the zoo. So if you don’t want to end up being eaten up in your african safari adventure, don’t bother doing this! This act should also be avoided for the sake of the animals too, because it encourages them to seek food from the people and not find their own.
Taking pictures without asking
While in some places in the world people wouldn’t mind their pictures being taken by others, in other places this is considered more as an invasion of privacy. So don’t take pictures of people without asking them. However you also need to keep in mind that sometimes you might end being exploited and asked to pay those that you take pictures of, so learn to read the situation and then make a decision. After all, you want to hold on to those pictorial memories of these Masai Mara safari tours.
Don’t test the wild animal
You aren’t Katy Perry with a pet tiger nor are you an expert at handling such wild animals, so don’t ever test these animals. Approaching them with food, disturbing them in their habitat and even calling out to them should all be avoided. These acts not only are a hinderance to the animals but also puts your life in danger as well.
Don’t go overboard with the adventurousness
While exploring the area is perfectly fine, you should make sure you do this with a guide or an experienced local by your side. This way you wouldn’t end up getting lost in the wild and becoming dinner for the animals. You also never know what is out there especially since you are only a visitor to the area, so it is best that you stick to the limits and restrictions and still try to have fun! Take the above DON’TS in to account and make sure you don’t try to test them out and fall in to trouble. After all, if you want to make sure you make the most of out of this trip, it is best you don’t cross certain lines and rules!
